About Me
Elana ’s focus on people, creative problem solving, and adaptive communication methods propel her towards a career in theme park, cruise line, and event entertainment management. She has experience stage managing productions of varying scales and complexities from large scale musicals such as Shrek the Musical, performed in the 2000 seat Walt Disney Theatre at the Dr.Phillips Center to Dance Concerts for Orlando’s Emergence Dance Company and the UCF School or Performing Arts intimate plays including We Begin in a Tavern a Patrons’ Pick play at the 2023 Orlando Fringe Festival. She has a variety of experience working with children and family entertainment at the Orlando Repertory Theatre having worked on the Youth Academy production of Junie B. Jones the Musical Jr., as the stage manager of the first developmental workshop for the Theatre for Young Audiences musical, Spells of the Sea soon to be performed at the Kennedy Center as part of their 2024-2025 Young Audiences season.
Currently, Elana is a Stage Manager at SeaWorld Orlando working on entertainment experiences such as Dolphin Adventure, Bands, Brew, and BBQ, and Spooktacular!
Her love for stage and entertainment management is propelled by a goal to create a lasting impact on those around her. She enjoys the creative collaboration that defines the theatre and entertainment industry. To Elana, the most important part of stage management is connecting with the people she works with in order to create an enjoyable, collaborative, and safe working environment for all involved.
